Horses in Training

Minella Charmer

Minella Charmer is a 136 rated horse by Kings Theatre. He has won 2 of his last 3 runs in the last season and unfortunately missing out on the Cheltenham Festival this year due to the ground.  A lovely big rangy type, who already has the class to do very well and is the type of horse that we thrive on.

Turtle Wars

Dagian is has been consistent so far throughout his career placing numerous times and at only five years old hopefully this season he can get his head in front.

Mega Double

Mega Double is by Westerner. She is a tough Mare who has won 2 for us so far at her time here.

She Got Fast

She Got Fast is a lovely big mare who has been performing well over hurdles. She has a very appealing handicap mark and we hope she can win a nice couple of races for us before she goes chasing in the future.

Golden Town

Golden Town has won 3 for us now and placed virtually every time he’s ran for us. He has a big personality and he is a huge part of the yard.

Native Fighter

Lough Kent

Lough Kent is a very successful horse, winning 5 races, four of which under our Conditional Jockey, Charlotte Jones, who also works in the yard.

Morning Royalty

Morning Royalty is recently happily retiring here at Pit Farm. during his racing days he never ran a bad race, and has won seven races whilst here with us and he has been a very valued member of our team.

No Hiding Place

No Hiding Place is a promising new member to our horses here at pit farm with one one run under his belt so far, we hope to see much more of his ability.

The Steward

The Steward is a solid, consistent team member for us placing on a number of occasions but most importantly winning the Cartmel Cup in 2019 under Callum Bewely.

Think Ahead

Think Ahead is a dual winner for us both times at our local track Cartmel Racecourse.

Oakmont has had his first run for us on the flat. He ran very promisingly and we hope to learn more about him and see more of what he can do as time goes on.

Aptly Put

Aptly Put is by Yeats and has been consistent so far in his few runs.

Lady Bowes

Lady Bowes has ran in 3 bumpers so far finishing a good second in a very strong field at Carlisle. We look forward to this mare’s hurdling debut some time soon.

Saint Patric

Saint Patric is by Universal and is one of our bumper horses. He is currently unarmed but is a big type of horse who we look forward to watching when he gets his time on the track.

Bumper horse who has just started with his work and is still learning the job.

Chief Dan George

Chief Dan George is in happy retirement here at Pit Farm at the grand age of 20.
