Has been at Pit Farm since July 2015 and has been very successful. He has won five races, breaking the two mile track record at Cartmel, over fences.

He won three consecutive races, immediately after arriving at Pit Farm.

A very newcomer to the yard, and a lovely big horse who is settling in beautifully and is an exciting prospect.

Bon Chic

Won a Class 3 handicap hurdle in October over three miles, and is now having a short break.

Boruma

Very consistent, winning two back to back races at Cartmel in the summer.

Captain Brown

He has been at Pit Farm four years and has been successful winning the Cartmel Cup for two years running.

A new arrival to Pit Farm, who will need good ground.

Arrived December 2017 and has settled well in the yard.

Placed virtually every time he’s ran for us – this spring will see him deliver.

Highland Lodge

Highland Lodge

Won the Becher Chase in 2015 and was second in the same race the following year, beaten by a short head.  Competed in the Grand National in 2017.

Idder

Has been a Pit Farm for one year and has won two races.

Lough Kent

Very successful horse, winning three races, two of which were ridden with our conditional jockey, Charlotte Jones, who also works in the yard.

Never runs a bad race, and has won seven races whilst at Pit Farm.

Munsaab

Has been at Pit Farm for one year and has won three times.

Nicholas Chauvin

Arrived at Pit Farm June 2017, and in this short period has won a Class 3 Handicap Chase at Wetherby, with hopefully lots more success still to come.

Smart Ruler

Our longest resident, who has won five races.

Ex point to point horse, who has settled in the yard nicely.

One of our newcomers, whose only run so far, finished second on his hurdling debut.

Think Ahead

Had two runs whilst at Pit Farm, one he won by nine lengths at Cartmel.

Arrived in September 2017, and has run once at Aintree

Our first arrival in 2018.  Will soon be cantering up the gallop after a short settling in period.
